Wasn't feeling great on a rainy day and decided I wanted to get some comfort food from this place. The reviews are amazing and their pastas looked incredible so decided to go out of my way to get some food to go. First off, super impressed with the customer service. I called ahead to place the order and waited 15 mins to go in and somehow when I arrived they didn't have the order (things happen) they were so apologetic and got the order to me very quickly and even brought it outside to me which was above and beyond service. I will always remember that as someone who wasn't feeling good! The food: definitely worth the drive. Got the Lamache Lala Vodka and wow, it was super fresh and delicious. The NY Style pizza was really good too. Next time I would sit inside to get the full experience but for takeout had a great experience.

The food is decent, portions are enormous, atmosphere is cute and service is friendly. We've had La Lanterna on our list to try for quite some time, and finally had the opportunity to try it when we were in the area recently. We went with 2 other families and had an 8p reservation. We didn't sit until close to 8:30, which was challenging with 6 kids in tow. The restaurant was packed on a Sunday night. We ordered immediately and bread came out quickly. All staff we came in contact with were lovely. 4 of the 6 adults opted for the Restaurant Week menu, which included "1/2 portion" app, full entree and full dessert. It was an incredible deal. Burrata and prosciutto app was flavorful, tender and filling. The stuffed sicilian bread was delicious. The chicken parm was enjoyable, the risotto was a little too creamy, the individual pizza was massive, and the kids loved it. The chicken francese might have been the winner. Great lemon-y flavor, tender chicken and it was enough to feed an army. Chocolate cake and cheesecake for dessert were also very good. I'm happy we were finally able to get there, but with the overabundance of good Italian restaurants in Westchester county it won't become a staple.

When we pulled up, it was beautiful (very sexy) fire place burning with the outside seating, looked so romantic. (I'm playing third wheel tonight) lol. The host said there wasn't any seating, we should've made reservations. (He was wrong) there was seating in the bar area. The Starmaid was pleasant beautiful and could sure as heck pour a good drink. Service here is GREAT, Food is even better. Had the spicy Vodka Lobster.. (a must!) only complaint is the tail was tiny for a heavy weight like me. Tried the grill chicken with the BIGGEST pasta noodles I've ever had. DELICIOUS. Did I mention the drinks? This is why I didn't take any pictures (I Hate when I do that) I enjoy the atmosphere, the staff and the people so much I didn't have the thought of pictures. I was truly living and enjoying the moment. If in Yonkers you should treat yourself. Cute quite sexy and grown.

Back again to celebrate my mother's birthday. Thursday evening was full, expected of course. Had a great time. The red sangria to my surprise wasn't good. They allowed me and my guest to switch, the white tasted much better. The food was delicious and service was good.

Was excited to try this place. Their food was really good and big portions. They really did alot with the decor which made the experience really nice. The flowers all over which is key for a date spot. Service was good also.

My family and I spent some of our Sunday afternoon at the a newly discovered restaurant- La Lanterna- I fell in love with their outdoor dining space. Tables surrounded by beautiful trees and decorated with flowers every where. It was definitely a place I will go back to. But that is not all, besides the beautiful space surrounded by nature, we felt very comfortable and enjoyed the friendly vibe from the staff as well as a delicious meal. We started with a refreshing white sangria and tried their NY style pizza- it did not disappoint, my mom tried spaghetti a carbonara with their freshly made pasta, I kept it light with their chopped salad which was also very good. Everything was . I can't wait to go back and try other interesting things I saw on their menu and also their indoor spaces!

Okay I said that I would get a schnitzel next time but its a Friday in lent. We ordered the ricotta stuffed Sicilian pie as our appetizer and I got the gnocchi while husband got the lumache alla vodka. The stuffed sicilian Wow. Delicious, fresh, perfect. The sauce was tasty, bread light and fluffy with crispy edges. Stuffed with fresh ricotta. Would order again. Gnocchi was very tasty. Most definitely homemade. Sad that I couldn't get a full burrata on my plate. The burrata was delicious. That's my only wish. Lumache all vodka was very tasty. Service was available and ready. Ambiance The building is old but they keep it nice. This was my first time dining inside (because I'm writing this in February). The floors have give and when waitstaff walk by your chair bounces up and down a bit with the giving floor. A tad annoying but with quality food like that it's easy to look the other way. I love to recommend this hidden gem. Will be back soon if not--then summer.
